Flight Sim
I noticed that MS have got rid of their entire Flight Simulation team and that FS -X will be the last
Am an avid follower of FS as I learnt to fly but not able to now and decided I would get the last copy so ordered it form Amazon. It arrived today 2 x CD's. Started installation ages to load CD One then half way though CD Two it has a file read error
Now I have to wait for a new one to be sent

Ah FS-X is SUPERB. Uses digitised mapping and used by airline pilots, not for its flight simulation features but accustoms them to the landing approach to airports they have not been to before. It also uses real ATC communications which can be as abrupt as real ATC crew can be! In the last version I had the Cessna flight characteristics was blooming realistic - it was the actual plane I learned to fly in and I did the same cock-ups on the real thing as I did with FS
Amazon are sending another set, should be here tomorrow! Yipeee!

True Stoday it was the Daily Mail (which I was reading at the quacks) that stated it just as you say and as I quoted.
I did like the 'Beat the Train' where you had to fly a B737 From C. DeGaul airport to Gatwick. At the same the EuroStar left Paris and the idea was you had to beat it. Only managed it once and crashed the B737 several times
Must admit if the MS FS B373 is anything like the real thing it is a bloody awful aircraft to fly in spite of its' popularity, very sluggish.
