Cashback deals

Post by Hoovie »

Posted about this before, but just sorted out another years car insurance and thought I would remind everyone how to save some cash.

Quidco.com ... Offering various cashbacks if you use them to click through to the companies.

This year the renewal quote was £141 for the Punto with £300 excess, which was not a bad deal at all, but decided to shop around any way (as last year was £160 but got £100 cashback)

Ended up with RAC Insurance for £170 but with just £100 excess (could have brought it down to £155 with £300 excess) but going via quidco, getting £70 back in May, so another years fully comp with protected NCD and biz use for under a ton :thumbright:

Oh, and while I was there, bought a years RAC cover for any car for £34.50 BUT got £20 cashback on that, so full RAC roadside cover for £14.50 - not too bad

Quidco earnings with those two cashbacks included just took the total amount over £1,000 :boxing: :-P
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yes I have used and saved many 100's of £'s, using quidco and
others, cashbackings are falling behind with the amount they
offer, I also use *********, mainly for freebies.
