Brilliant drill, had one for must be 20 years.

The big downside is the battery cost, so unless you can negotiate a special price with the rep for two batteries. forget it.

I run a Bosch version of this...the GBH36VF-LI. Fantastic bit of kit, would recommend to anyone, and it's got a three year warranty to back it up. Make sure you get one with two batteries though, preferably the 2.6Ah ones. Toolstop are generally well-priced...

There is also a GBH36V-LI (rather than the VF-LI). This is cheaper, and the difference is that the VF-LI has a quick change chuck so you can use straight shank drills as well, whereas the V-LI is SDS only. It's more expensive than buying an SDS to straight shank adapter but well worth the extra money IMHO
