Hi All,
Which is the best way of laying the floor tiles, as you can see from the picture my walls are not true 90Degrees.

I have read information where to start from for floor tiling and they usually recommend from centre, but i think this would be for larger area.

The problem i have here if i use the whole tile i will have to follow the shape of the wall and i will most probably a traingle shape.

I am thinking of starting from where the brick step is, as this is be the 1st part of the area and then the shower area, which will have slope for the run.

I had another problem when i was tiling just above the door, which i had to lay the tile, i had to lay it slight slanted/tilting, as otherwise i would have to buy tonnes of adhesive.

either that or start in the centre so you can make your cuts fit the walls, and the lack of 90 degree angles will me much less obvious

I wouldn't use then at all, instead a mosaic or pebble would look much better.

I do not know what to do, as the Other half insisting to use these tiles, as she does not fancy the mosaic.

I am thinking of using the whole tile against the wall, picture S8304704.JPG and working towards the door. So the first row which will be on the wall side it have different shape, what do you all think ?

i would do as python says then.... diagonally as it would be harder to make out the bent angles & finish would be neater. plus you wont have to worry about meeting grout lines

I agree with Raf & Python, I laid my tiles on the diagonal from the centre line, as said it disguises the non right angle corners.
