Tiling over damaged filled wall

I am having a new bathroom fitted and removed two walls worth of tiles myself. Unfortunatly big holes (3mm deep but wide) appeared once the grout was removed. I have filled the holes with standard filler (some of the holes are 2 feet wide in diameter). The wall is flat witha few minor bumps where the filler is slightly uneven.

Will a tiler be able to tile over this wall?

Excuse my ignorance as im not very handy :)

Yes, he will. If there are any bits that are not flush then he will sand them off or the adhesive will take up the slack. Your tiles will stick to the filler. Your only worry now is that you managed to get good adhesion between your filler and the wall.

use a 2m straight edge say like a level put it on over your walls making note of any bumps or dips all should be with in a 3mm tolerance to keep yer tiler happy
