Suprise Suprise!
Setanta are on the verge of folding.
I just hope some other sports broadcaster will take up the rights.
I will need to go to the bank and cancel my direct debit with Setanta

THey were paying far to much money for the footbal and trying to complete with Sky. They were something like 70,000 subscribers short of what they needed to break even!

it may well continue, its up to the administrators if they want to try and sell it as a going concern. Worst thing that could happen is you loss one months subscription

They are saying up here that if they do fold, at least one football club in the Scottish premier league will go under.
Lets hope it is Rangers

Na chance
I had heard that there was a good chance that 3 clubs would be forced into administration.
Either way it shows that clubs are far to reliant on TV money.
