Reviving Dark Grey Floor Grout

Hi Guys
Just has my bathroom walls re-tiled and it looks great. Tiled floor remained as the floor tiles were perfect apart from the grouting in parts.
The grout on the floor tiles is dark grey, but where the 'Missus' has used talc, the grouting has gone lighter in colour. In spite of scrubbing, they dry this lighter/whiter colour and looks odd against the other dark grey grout.
The grout used was specially for floors and is solid as a rock so not easy to remove and re-grout. I have looked at the Unibond Grout Reviver but that seems to be a 'light' grey and all the other brands I found are white.
Anyone got any suggestions on how to bring back original colour or at least to make these lighter grouted areas darker ?
Thanks in advance.
