Just joined up, thought a hello would be in order.

I have recently bought my first house Im thinking of naming it the money pit! Never done much DIY but have a rough grasp of the rougher points and think I understand some of the theory too!

I shall thank you all now in advance for any help you pass on and you never know in the future I may have some answers myself!

The money pit is a great name for your house, although if your doing a lot of the work yourself, it shouldn't become a bottomless pit
