Evertime I turn on Iexplorer after a couple of minutes a new Iexplorer opens up with a bloody ad by bigen or somewhere down that crap, trouble is I cant close the it and I'm sure its slowing my PC down.

Any help would be appriciated

Sounds like you have a browsewr hijacker.
Please follow these instructions:

1st thing to do is clear out all your temporary files, tool of choice is ATF Cleaner, it is free and you do not have to install it. Download and instructions here (Windows XP, 2K, 2003 & Vista ONLY)
* NOTE : If you would like to keep your saved passwords, click No at the prompt.

-- Click on ATF-Cleaner to run it
-- Where it says Select Files To Delete, Check the Select All Option
-- Click Empty Selected - > OK

If you use Firefox browser, do this also:

* Click Firefox at the top and choose Select All from the list.
* Click the Empty Selected button.


Then, please download MalwareBytes' AntiMalware


* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to the following:

o Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
o Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

* Then click Finish

If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

* Once the program has loaded, select > Perform Full Scan, then click > Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click > OK, then > Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click > Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Save this log to My Documents in case it is needed for reference.
Reboot as required.

Post back afterwards.

Still mega headach tried the above when I try to download the cleaner it starts to open the page then gives up I have the same problem with a lot of downloads, still trying to update my Java and adobe software the same happens.

Was able to download the malware programme but it was still running after 6 hours

however after following your advice on my previous thread, on UHM it goes from one thread to another great so I know your advice is priceless but I'am having so much problems theres to many to list,

ANY ADVICE MUCH APPRICIATED

open the start menu in windows and click run
- type msconfig into the box and hit enter
- go to startup tab and untick everything you don't need on at startup
click ok and restart

Also download Spybot S&D from http://www.safer-networking.org and the newest definitions file

Also Avast! www.avast.com (home edition, which is free but hidden)

restart the computer, but before the windows loading screen appears, tap F8 and select safe mode

install Spybot and then install the definitions file.


run spybot, if it prompts you to clear temporary files, click yes, once it loads up click immunize and apply the immunization
then run a full scan and delete anything it finds

install avast and click yes when it asks if you want to do a boot time scan, restart the computer if it finds anything then click delete all

rinse and repeat till computer clean

let us know how you get on :)

You certainly seem to be having some trouble with Int Explorer.
As you cannot get the ATF Cleaner, try clearing out the browser.

Open IE -> Tools -> Int Options -> General Tab
In Browsing History click Delete.
In the window that appears, tick all the boxes except Cookies, Form Data and Passwords.
Click delete and close the browser.

Download and install SuperAntiSpyware from:
http://www.superantispyware.com/superan ... vspro.html
Click the Blue download button for the free version.
When installed, double click the icon to open itand click "Check for Updates"
Once updated click Scan and select Quick Scan -> Next.

See what that finds and let it remove anything it does find.



If you have further difficulties downloading asny security software, do you have access to another computer and a USB Memory stick? If so, download on the other computer and save to desktop. Do not run the installer but move it to the USB Stick. Then plug into your PC and run it from there to install it
