Trying to make an appealing poster!

Help! I'm trying to make an appealing sponsorship poster to put into shop windows. I've got the basic wording in font and colour, want an A4 sheet size, can't get a pic in though and it needs something else. Would any arty computer bod be able to help me please, so I can print off a few? I'd e-mail the words and pic! i know my limits!

Just had a play with a free poster maker program.
It is late and after a few 'gargles' so if they are not right just say so.

You could use this one and cut the bottom bit off as I am unable to edit it out.

Problem resolved, Cancer Research are sending me official sponsorship goodies and poster paper to print my posters on.
