Hi - I would really appreciate your advice here.

I need to decide whether to have large format tiles 600*600 or 300*600 in kitchen, as opposed to glass splashback. My concern is cutting large format tiles to allow for powerpoints. Is it easier for builder/tiler to put up splashback or tiles ? Which will take longer ?

Thanks

Cutouts for sockets etc can be cut into both but i would think the glass will be a more risky job, but for someone who does it on a regular basis it shouldnt be ( putting socket holes in tiles i do with my eyes shut lol) so really the choice is your as to what you want.

I wouldn't put 600 x 600's or 600 x 300's in, if you want to go for a large format tile then it's better to go for a long thin tile on a landscape, I did some 500x 150's recently, looked great in a kitchen

Friend of mine had them landscape tiles put in his kitchen. Redish type tiles and white thick grout. It looks excellent, When I he told me what he was doing I though he was mental
