Fiat Ducato / Citroen Relay / Peugeot Boxer Servicing

Post by tjrundy »

Hello,

I recently bought an 'S-reg' 1998 Fiat Ducato 1.9D (this is the same as the Citroen Relay / Peugeot Boxer), and it's just turned 90k miles. Everything works fine and I love driving it.

My uncle is a car fanatic, and in exchange for lending it to him, he's offered to do a service. The van has no service history, but does run fine. I bought the only service manual I could find - the Pocket Mechanic (Peter Russek manuals), but it doesn't say anything about servicing schedules. Sadly I have no user manual either.

So, could anyone here please offer some advice about what needs to be done on a full service?

Many thanks in advance,

Thomas.

If youve just got it, and plan on keeping it for any length of time, id look at brake fluid, coolant flush, fuel/air filter, oil filter

Then for what effort it takes, do oil and filter every 6months, air and fuel every 18months.
