adivse needed please,please,
i have tiloed my bathroom floor in 300x300 travertine effect floor tiles,the floor was layed with 22mm 8x2 t&g flooring boards which are wpb. but there is one row of tiles which have cracked the grout and hav a slight bounce in them, i mean i have to move my weight to see them move,
now the question?? can i buy bal superflex grout and just regrout them without relaying them as i ahve allready tiled the wall down to them. i dont think the nicobond grout i have used was flexible as the bit i have removed was very powdery.
so any advice would be great

You can try it, I wouldn't hold your breath though, it may need ripping up and prepping properly.

I believe that Bal suggest Fastflex with such a thin ply.

You may have had more success just using Green grade chipboard and 12mm ply overlay

its not looking good. I would say it needs ripped up and done correctly.

An entire row of tiles lifting is not a good sign

thanks guys, but it is not thin chipboard it is 22mm thats just under 1 inch the floor is solid, i think it was the adhesive i was using i have now bought the flexi adhesive from bal lets hope it works

The only adhesive that Bal sell that is up to the job is Bal Fastflex but doing it this way is frowned upon by the professionals.
