Hi all i have some prcelain 600x300 tiles to put in my bathroom , they are the polished type. Am I right in my assumption and what i have read elsewhere that you need to wash these before installling and also to seal them prior to fixing to prevent the grout from leaching into the tiles? If so can anyone recommend a product for sealing, i have seen some plasplugs brand porcelain tile sealer reduced in my local B+Q and wondered if that would be upto the job. Also what do you recommend i clean them with , soap and water or something else? I am also assuming i only have to seal and clean the front and side faces is that correct.
Sorry for all the questions but just need to clarify before i begin.

prcelain tiles and sealing/cleaning
If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL

Some advice here Nick from Mudster- fitting marble tiles
I have never heard of anyone cleaning them before fixing.
This is what Mudster has recommended in the past to seal marble-

There is also the stain stop plus, which might be worth considering-
