floor tiles in small ahower room.

Cracking around tiles, and across some tiles (~225 square, quarry tiles).

Under tiles flooring is chipboard T+G flooring, above 50mm celotex, and thyen another layer of chipboard, then joists.

Top layer of chipboard screwed through celotex to bottom layer, but there is allot of movement.

help?

I'm removing and re-laying tiles. Can this be done leaving a permanent job, or do I need to f*ck with the floor construction?

When you say there is a lot of movement how do you mean ?

Do you know the condition of the joists ?

25mm plywood instead of the top layer of chipboard should make it a lot more sturdy it wont flex as much as the chipboard.

Also when relaying the tiles use a thick bed cement based adhesive and grout.
