Hi there,
has anyone ever used a product called "no more ply"? A friend advised I use it for my bathroom floor but it's not easy to find...also a bit expensive.

I have never heard of it to be honest

But having just done a google search it appears to be similar to tilebacker board/hardibacker/aquapanel.

Unless your creating a wet room plywood is the cheapest method of sorting an unstable floor for tilling

cement based backer boards are the same price or there abouts as wbp ply...wbp is imo going out the tiling market shortly to c/b/b/b.. imo more realibile i have had a good few jobs fail because of the wbp being contamimated with oils..an the sticky stuff they put on the ply to stop it sticking together when on top of each other... :cb

they're porcelain and they're 10mm thick and 60cmx30cm, I bought flexible adhesive and grout also. I screwed down the only creak i found. will it need more screwing down do you think? I'd rather not have to put a backer board down but also i'd also i don't want it to crack up either!

screw the exsisting boards to joists "looks like nails" in ur pics....

prime floor with bal sbr
thinset addy on floor lay 6mm b/boards screw them down leave gap between boards
