can anyone suggest what substrate to use on this exterior wall.
to where these tiles bulged then came away x 4 of them big tiles.
a builder replaced them 2 months ago . cowboy
he will not come back.
he said needs tanking it is tanked!!!!!!!!!!!
this time they
'BULGED' first then came away.
would a waterproof cement first then a heavy duty tile adhesive work.

yes the wall is damp.
no other tiles coming away all fully tiled floor to ceiling
length = 14feet
owned flat for 4 years
converted detached victorian conv.
there are 3 other rooms in b/s just a little damp in winter .nothing drastic.
what can i use for RENDER? and which bonding/ tile adhesive .
please[/b]

:welcome:

Before you even consider even attempting to re-apply the tiles you need to get the damp problem resolved, if the wall is damp you will always have tiles popping off.

You should have an electrical damp proof fitted not only for the room mentioned but also your other rooms that show signs of damp.

Agree with lamntile, if the wall is damp then nothing will stick to it, you need to resolve this problem
