my sister in law has just got the internet in and has asked me to sort it out, got everything working apart from activating the boardband on the laptop, ie doing the setup on the virgin site registering the account.

there laptop is really old and slow, my question is can i take my laptop round and use that or does it have to be on there laptop that i started it with?

Any computer will do, and the setup instructions are here:

Highlite the middle part of the page where the instructions are and click File -> Print and tick Selected.

Saves getting all the extra stuff. Repeat with page 2 & 3.

i had no probs doing it , but it took 5 mins to load pages up then on some of them i had to refreash and wait again
