sealer for stone tiles

Hi there,
I have these natural stone tile for my bathroom, they're for around the bath and basin.
I plan to seal them with a colour enhansing sealer but not sure if it should be done before or after they're up.
Which sealer would you recommend?
Also, any hints & tips for cutting these tiles would be appreciated.

You can cut the tiles with a diamond wheel cutter-
cutting natural tiles

For sealing the tiles I suggest you look here- sealing tiles

Most tiles are sealed after fixing, but you should check this with the suppliers of the sealer to be 100% sure.

That looks like a quartzite or slate - lovely!

If you are an inexperienced tiler I would recommend sealing the tiles prior to fixing. Use a flexible white adhesive and flexible grout too.

You may want to apply further coats of sealer after fixing, depending on how porous the tiles are.

I, personally, prefer the Lithofin range of sealers and impregnators but go with whatever your local stockist can supply.

You will have to use either a diamond wheel wet cutter or handheld grinder to cut these.

Thanks for the advice, i've put them on the wall and sealed them a colour enhanser, now waiting 12 hours for a second coat and then will go for the grout.
I bought a coloured grout (jasmine) and hope the colour enhanser/sealant will protect the tiles from any messy grouting.
They look lovely on the wall, they're slate and have a fair bit of orange in them, although I had to pick through the boxes to choose more orange than grey....
Was hoping for a bath this weekend but now hoping for next!!!
