Can't copy DVD 'back ups' on laptop

I have a regular PC with Nero copying software and DVD shrink to copy DVDs for 'Back up' 
This PC has 2 DVD Drives, one player and one Re-Writer. Whenever the player has Encoded the DVD, the Re-Writer drive automatically copies the info to the new disc.
Whenever I copy CDs on my laptop, it ejects the original CD and I insert a new disc and the laptop copies sucessfully. HOWEVER, whenever I attempt to copy DVDs on my laptop that has the same DVD Shrink/Nero as my main PC, and only having the one DVD Player/ReWriter, it doesn't complete its task.
It encodes it fine and ejects the original disc and informs me I can now copy the info now stored on the hard drive.
When I insert a new disc, what do I need to do to finalise the copying? Do I click the hard drive icon and the folders copied?
Please help..........and keep it simple
