Post by Dirk Diggler »

Hi guys, have any of you fellows used a dewalt 712 sliding mitre saw.
b and q are selling them off at the moment for 240 pounds, that seems a good buy .

its an excelent saw highly accurate can cut 12" 25" if you flip the board over
you can trench with it cut 61degree angles
fully set up with positive locking positions for 3 4 5 6 sided cuts [triangle square ect]

i paid £378 for mines nearly 2 years ago

every body who has one loves them never heard any complaints except splintering out which is easily cured

A friend of mine had the 712 and it is an awesome saw.

I have the 704 and it is ok, but cannot cut wider pieces like the 712, If I could justify it I would get one at that price
