cleaning spilt adhesive spots from plexi

Post by A BELMONT »

hi to all
have a quick question regarding the removal of tensol adhesive from the surface of clear plexi, i have been advised it can be removed using a several types of emery cloth namely 600 - 800 - 1200 does anyone know where i can get this from as i have not seen it in any of the usual diy stores.

thankyou

You should be able to get it from car accessory shops as it is used in the car painting trade.

I would guess that you will be doing something like this with it-

after working the emery You can use farecla paste compound products like G7 (used for paint polishing on cars) and the other Grades to polish out scratches ect if you have a air or power mop even lots of elbow power,
I told a m8 about it, he used it on his wind shield on his Blackbird Bike to polish out some spillage worked a treat.
If you can't convince'm with arguments,
dazzle'm with bullshit
