Hi dave just looking at your virus answer and you posted web site about viruses raymond.I have just spotted the dialer one how does that work and what can you do to avoid it; does it also apply if you are wireless connected thanks.

As you are probably on broadband don't let it worry you.
It was a problem when people were on dialup internet but most are not now connected that way.
It did what is described and dialed things like the £1-a-minute calls but if you are on broadband your internet should be set to Never Dial A Number.


Open your Internet Explorer browser and go to Tools -> Options -> Conenctions Tab.
Under Dial-up, the box should be emtyand the 'Never dial a connection' should be greyed out under the Proxy Server settings.
