Just swapped (his evening) rom my Netgear DG834GT to BT HomeHub V2.0, I can't believe the difference in speed from the BT router, we are also running another Wifi PC and also an iPod, fantastic!

Who is your ISP?

I was thinking of putting my bt hub on but was concerned that my ISP's servers wouldn't like it.
Which is your ISP? and have you switched it off at all, did it work straight away?

Whats the difference between this a regular modem router that comes with SKY say (sagem), Reason why I ask is that I am planning to put CAT 5 cables around my flat, connected to a hub but now I am thinking that the Modem/Reuter that comes with SKY or BT has 4 RJ45 ports so does away with the need for a sperate Router
However, the BT one looks great and having a built in phone (optional) is a nice touch!

Just a quick question - are you with BT as your ISP? or can you buy the Home Hub separately anyway? What is the speed gain? I am 3 miles from my exchange and my current profile enables downloads of 245 Kb/s on average sometimes more (compare a client whose computer I fixed who has a Netgear DG834G v.2.0 and only a mile or less from their exchange and downloads are 1000 kbps!
