My dad, who isn't a registered plumber, had trouble soldering one pipe together. Just this certain one, but finaly did it.

Turned it on. All ok. Went into the shower room, (this was all happening in the utility room, which backs onto the shower room) anyway, went into shower room, put the innards into the loo and connected that up, and put the taps and the shower on.

When all this was happining, the pipe burst and the water started leaking again. Now the utility room is sunken into the floor by about 6 inches, (to stop if a leak happens the water getting into the rest of the house).

Anyway, because the water was leaking onto the tools and dustsheets, it was almost silent, and cos we were concentrating we didn't hear the rest of what noise there was. So 1 1/2 hours later we come into the utility room to find the water almost overflowing into the rest of the house, so we had to break out the buckets and borrow a dehumidifier.
