Recently put together a Circular chrome table for a friend, which has a glass top. The glass table top just rests on 'four' suckers, which seems to me to be very poor way to secure it. Just leaning against it gently is enough to slide the glass off. Anyone any ideas on how to secure it to stop it sliding ?
regards

There is a proper glass bond, I think they sell it in bnq.
Does he lay underneath the table and ask his wife to sh*t on it ??

I've got 2 tables with a glass top fixed on suckers.
No way could you shift either by leaning against them or even pulling. I can lift the tables by the glass top the suckers suck that well.
I just used spit as lubricant.

i will have another look at it today .. maybe the glass needed a proper clean as all i did was take it out the box and plonk it on the chrome legs.

Normally if you wet the suckers and then push down on the glass they create a vacuum and hold it securely.
Perhaps the suckers are damaged, if it will not hold it?
