Citroen Multispace 2l
Post by Mick Coleman »
hi
i have a Citroen Multispace 2l diesel
i have a noise coming from the left hand side of the engin, around by the belts.
sounds like something rubbing or run dry, its 5 years old and 30000 on the clock.
could it be a lose belt??
thanks

If nothing obvious outside of the housing, perhaps a quick look inside...?
Not sure if its easy to see inside...probably not.
How about the tensioner on the alternator belt...i have noticed a faint rumble from the one on my van, different engine, but i believe a few bits are shared.

alternator belt
Post by Mick Coleman »
Well done Hitch
My man says its the alternator belt £155 to put right
a service later on about £70 + parts
picked up car from home job sorted.
i know you could say £155 for a belt But he came out to me.
took car away sorted out my problem and gettin the car back to me next day.
with a report.
