Ive got a floor tiling job to do for my parents next week and although ive done 3 rooms in my own house they were only smallish square rooms.

The kitchen at my parents is 6.5mtr down one side. My question is, whats the best way to make sure the first tile is set out square so i dont get the cuts running out of square down that long edge?

Use the long run as the starting point for setting out and your 3:4:5 triangle to get a square line off of it.
