Hi All
After some advice please.
I am using Mozilla Fire fox as my web browser, but have started to experience problems when accessing my Virgin Media e-mail account. My loggin page takes an age to load and states connected to st.sageanalyst.net.
Does anyone know how I can rectify this problem.
Advice much appreciated.

For me it took an age to get thru' using my normal bookmark. It was a bit quicker going thru' the VM website and selecting email from the home page.
Which email are you trying to access, NTLworld, blueyonder, virgin.net etc ?

Thanks Skiking for your reply.
Been trying to get on using blueyonder. I have tried the way you suggested but still takes an age. It has to be something to do with st. sageanalyst.net.

Have a look at the
Service Status for your area

There appears to be a few comments on line about this sageanalyst site but nothing to help solve your problem.
st.sageanalyst.net. is a site survey that chcks and records usage at which ever site it is monitoring.
Open Firefox -> Tools -> Options -> Privacy Tab and click Show Cookies.
Scrolldown to see if there are any called 'st.sageanalyst' or just 'sageanalyst'.
If you see any click on each one and delete it.
Then try to get back onto your email account. Is it a Cable or phone line connection you have?
If that does not stop the cookies, then check the
Virgin Media Help section.

Hi Dave
Thanks for the advice. Still no luck, still taking an age to get logged on to e-mails. Been onto Virgin, but say they can't offer advice as they don't support Firefox. Wouldn't mind but had no problems until about five days ago.
Loggin page always freezes when on st.sageanalyst.net. Takes an age then I get logged on. Very frustrating. May have to change to Internet Explorer as my browser.

May have to change to Internet Explorer as my browser.
Why not just install the IE View Addon to Firefox and you can then use Firefox to open any pages that work best in IE.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/35
That way, if you set it to open your mail site by using Ie it will do it from Firefox but behave as IE.

To use the IE Viewer, once you have downloaded it.
Copy the URL for the mail website by opening your mail site and click and hold on the url and drag across to highlite it, then use CTRL+C keys to copy it.
Open Firefox -> Tools -> Addons -> Find the IE Viewer and click on it and click on Options.
In the bottom box labelled ADD, paste the url that you copied, by clicking in the box and use CTRL+V keys to paste it. Click Add.
Then when ever you click on the icon/shortcut or Bookmarks name to go to your Virgin Mail site whilst using Firefox, it will open the site in IE, and Firefox will remain in the background for when you have finished.

Dave
Thanks for the info. Seems to be working a bit quicker, but more importantly, I have access to my e-mails again.
Cheers
