Are Trend biscuit jointer blades any good?

They are pretty good on digestives and rich tea, but no good at all at joining ginger nuts, the ginger bits clog the blade

They're OK. The Omas/Leitz replaceable tip type are much better, but then at £80 odd they should be

Trend do a couple of ranges, Craft and Pro. Plus a specialist industrial range i beliveve.
Explains itsself really.
I have never had any problems with using anything from the craft range.

Id expect them to be quality for general purpose use.

The CMT blades from axminster are very good, and probably the same price range.

Sorry, thats not the one!!.......the one I was looking at (same supplier) is about twice the price!!

Gadget, just what is wrong with your current blade? My local saw doctor service can retip and resharpen them, so I just wondered why you needed a new blade.

It's a cheapo machine and the blade is crap. I just thought if I got a decent blade it would balance out!

I replaced mine at the first sign of it becoming dull. Cheapo machine aswell.

With a half decent blade it felt better than the machine when it was brand new.

I have only used it a couple of times, but it burned it's way in rather than cutting!!...

I used mine to trim some laminate flooring in situ that someone had messed up.
