Removing adhesive left on walls

Whats the best method to remove tile adhesive left on walls?

Can I use brush on artex remover then scrape off?

I use a scraper. Just depends how well stuck it is, how thick the bed is and how much of it there is as to what you need to do.

Normally my scraper which uses a big stanley blade does the job. failing that I use hammer and bolster.

Wet it with warm soapy water if it is stubborn but may take a few applications.

You can use a steamer, but be careful not to over do it as you can damage the plaster.
