A friend is having trouble with his computer he is using vista, he is with bt and has a hub.The other day the pointer froze on the screen and stayed that way for a couple of hours,after he could not connect to the internet.He contacted bt they told him his drivers seemed to be missing,he went to maplins to buy new drivers for the internet and the guy told him they he didnt think that both drivers would be gone so did not buy them. He has tried again and now can only use the internet by wifi only,he does not use wifi and only connects using the ethernet cable anyone got any ideas why he cannot connect using the ethernet cable.

You don't buy drivers from a shop!

Drivers are software that normally come with any hardware and enable the hardware to communicate with the computer.

Tell your friend to uninstall the BT Hub and all that came with it.
Then use the CD that came with it to reinstall the software and drivers.
If he does not have the instruction booklet, he can get it here before he uninstalls the Hub;
