makita 9032 powerfile sander

Post by lockie »

Got one of these recently and its a gem of a tool. Not the cheapest tool but black and decker do one for £50.

Great for all those awkward jobs where you just need to file something.I bought it after taking a lump out of my really sharp chisels on a newly installed door where someone had sheared a screw off and punched it into the wood.I had no idea it was there and ruined my chisel.Took ages to get it out too.
A friend had one of these and uses it all the time for this senario so got one for myself.
Works a treat and brilliant if you need to chop a lock case a bit deeper into a door near a glass panel.
Does a nice job on metal and effortless on wood.
Great for tidying up aluminium door lock installs.

Its one of those tools you find jobs for once you have one but not something you would ever have the urge to buy unless you tried or saw one in use.
