Post by village idiot »

been making up 15m weld cables last couple of days (50mm2 & 70mm2)
do you refer to the connector pictured as a DIN plug or a DINZE plug
Attachments
i say DIN, the packet says DIN, everyone else in the dept calls them DINZE

VI,

This site spells them as Dinse Plugs:

http://www.thewelderswarehouse.com/Weld ... lugs_.html

This is a DIN Plug

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_connector

Used to use the 8 pin DINs for disco lighting and some stage lighting control circuits at one time.

the new truck is designed to fit 4 on the back, not had that yet but took 2 lighting towers back from Invergordon today on the back & towing a 350, the towers were at one end of the yard & the weld set at the other & could only get forks to load the towers

no idea the price but they spend a lot of time in Invergordon when there's a rig in for a refit, some were even over in Croatia for a while, came back with road diesel in the tanks but filthy fuel
