Cutting a strip from a floor tile (ceramic)

Hi All
In the attached diagram's of a mocked up tile (sorry its a bit rough)
how do you get a clean cut from a floor tile 300 by 300 to remove a strip.
The two side cuts (1 and 2 in the image 1) are fine just run it along the diamond wheel tile cutter it the horizontal cut (cut 3 in image1) that's gut me stuck.
can it be cut with a jig saw (something tile specific) if there is such a thing
or
do you just make consecutive cuts as in image2 (the red vertical lines) till the desired width is achieved then file point 3a to tidy up any rough edge.
or is there a better (easier) way
FYI the cut is to fit round a décor end panel for a kitchen floor
The image dimensions are out but its just a guide to explain the issue

nah to time consuming
2 parralel cuts 4mm short assuming its less than 1" then break the waste
file to the line
if its greater than 2" then finnish with a jigsaw curving over the last 3 inches
then when you cut into the corner you reverse the cut to aim at the other corner then you nibble with the jigsaw or file clean

Use diamond wheel or angle grinder with diamond disc etc to cut the 2 x down the tile.
Then carefully score the the tile between the two cuts with a standard rail tile cutter (or tile scriber)
Tonk waste piece firmly onto something solid but not too hard, and theoretically at least you should have minimal ceramic remaining in the middle. I would then normally use the angle grinder to remove any excess ceramic at the bottom of the cut, if there is a slight burr.

Or, cut down the decor end panel and slide tile underneath.
The way I normally do it, has already been given, but thought I would give you another option.

Although I used a small tile file for any burrs ratehr than an angle grinder
