small deck ive done over the last 2 das
its 3.0x2.7m the lower section of handrail is to sit on
i forgot to take and wip pics, oh well
missing post caps, but the cant decide what to have

Looks good, that, Speed.
Llike the idea of the lowered handrail for seating, it saves some space on the decking.
No need for as many plastic chairs.

Fits in quite nicely. Could have acorn end caps, you will have a low one for any gay friends to sit on then lol.
See the back of the house is in full sun at 2.15pm, nice that.

Nice work speed,like that fancy panel,is the deck connected to post set in concrete?Thats a festool sliding saw isnt it or is it a metabo, and i see you are using your douglas hammer,you sure have quality tools to go with your quality workmanship

there will be no post cap on the lower post, and no gay friends to sit on then lol.

its the festool kapex
the area under the deck is limestone wackered down, as he was going to concrete it. so i bedded blocks on the limestone then sat some 3x3 posts on that upto the deck.
