sloped patio - drainage

Post by neil1280 »

alright guys, i need ur opinion on wether my patio could be causing problems in my garden

my patio is sloped towards the lawn, so when i powerhose it all the moss and gunk goes toward the lawn and im sure that is what is causing lots of weeds at that edge

im planning to either deck or a raised paved patio if thats possible there is a tap and drain at the kitchen window (right where i was standing to take the pic)so should i raise it at the edge of the lawn and slope it towards the drain?

No run it the other way..away from the house..one in 80 or similar...if you really want a "lawn" then keep bwhat you have but have an area between the deck and the grass covered with weed control fabric and grave/slate

PS apolgies for any spellingbmustakes...i'm typing inthe dark as the mrs.is asleep on the sofa..
