Building was a post office and client has split off part that's now a 'Beauty' Salon.
The rest is now 2 rooms, new stud wall with large opening which will house 2 x sliding doors yet to install (another job for later).
If looking from Front of Shop this window would be the left hand one. Poor lighting just my little pocket camera.
This side is the Photo Studio, Dulux Trade Flat Matt, it's very very flat and Matt.
Moving down the wall towards the back. New Radiator and pipe boxing installed.
This is the back of the same room
Swinging across the back
This is the inside of the archway, a small 'room' where scenes will be hung.
Moving round (there's the hole for the sliding doors)
Moving round Speaker cables and then down to lowered ceiling to front window.
Other side of stud wall where the front door is, this will be the reception, display area, all done in Dulux Trade Diamond Matt, woodwork (not finished) is in Dulux Trade Diamond Satinwood. Now this area is White, very WHITE!
Moving round from front door (lower ceiling) into room...
and further round
Now you haven't got lost yet have you?
Round we go to the hole for the sliding doors...
This is the room you can see at the rear, will be the make-up/changing room for customers....
Now from inside ...
From big door at rear ...
The flooring was laid on Monday, I left the skirts, knotted, primed and with 1 coat of Diamond Satinwood, the flooring guys cut them up and fitted. Have them to sand and final coat tomorrow.
Currently painting out the small toilet/cloak room at the rear of the 'shop'. I fitted the toilet and boxed in about 2 weeks ago then plasterers came in and made a mess everywhere.
Here's the back area (it's small and difficult to get into a picture, but it does manage to have 6 YES 6 doors in it!)...
Paint hadn't quite gone off tonight when I took these...
Here's the wee loo... Access panel to get to the isolators for the loo and the cold to the basin)
The view from the loo, looking up...
I keep thinking I'm in a Black and White world and someone's turned off the colour.
Pop outside regularly just to see green and blue and red and anything BUT white.
Just want to add that HBWT deserves a thank you for putting up with my rant over the weekend about this job.
Sizes are Studio 6.3mt x 3.5mt with a 2.9mt ceiling. There are 2 ceiling levels, 8 d/l on high level, 4 d/l on low level. And you can see the sockets and switches!
Reception 6.3mt x 2.6mt with a 2.9mt ceiling. There are 3 ceilings with 2 high level and a down stand then 1 lower. High level has 6 d/l then down stand next has 2 d/l then to lower ceiling with 4 d/l. And the numerous switches and sockets you can see.

Your time frame for painting a door is going to diminish by a big margin with the amount you have got to do.
It is looking good, so far. Are you going to put update pics in at the end for us??

I've done the skirts, doors, loo boxing and pipe case today, and just bits and pieces where the flooring guy marked the wall, missed a bit here you know, back on Monday to final fit the loo and the 2 rads.
I'm booked in to help put all the fancy lights and tracks and stuff up in 2 weeks time.
So definitely be follow-ups. But for now it's pretty much as is I'll catch a few shots on Monday. It's actually difficult to see progress as everything is white.
