has anybody used a steam cleaner on the grout in bathrooms i have been using one at work and i was surprised at the amount of dirt and grime that came away from the grout anybody else got any comments on these cleaners.

The only comment I have Peter is, 'cheers mate', I had never thought of that. The grout lines in my shower are a pig to get clean, so I'll try the steamer next time!

try HG grout cleaner, its superb stuff. (only get the HG stuff, the stuff they are selling in topp tiles and bnq is pish)

A friend bought a Polti steam cleaner (can't remember the exact model) from QVC several years ago. Useful for steam cleaning loads of things like carpets, curtains, cookers and, yes, even grout

Ms Gadget bought that one too, so it seems Sunday is grout cleaning day!!

i use some the other day and agree its great stuff and cheaper than the plasplugs crap they sell in B&Q

No, I can't say that I have tried it that way. Who would have known that you could use a steam clear on floor tiles. I'll be sure to try that out the next go around.
