Tile to laminate door bar

im after a bar more like the carpet door bar are any of these available for tile to laminate?

Hi Mike,

How about a bit of hardwood fixed down? You don't really want to form a ridge under your tiles or laminate! Screw some timber to the gap between the tiles and the laminate.

Yes...had one at the previous house....sort of "U" shaped channel that fixes/screws to the floor....then a "T" shaped piece that fits inside the "U" ... :dunno: can't remember where I got it though....one of the sheds... :scratch: B&Q maybe..

I just call em door strips (think they might be called "Z Bars ?), most tile shops actually stock them.

Yes, as last post said..........Z-bar is the profile you need.

or you could go really nuts and buy the quickstep "inzizo"bar :lol: costa fortunum though ::b

Don't know why they are dear, because at the end of the day it is still a naff MDF extrusion.
