Just used MapeGrip D2 on a tiling job at home, dead impressed.
I have used ready mixed adhesives before and they have been sh*t, especially on larger tiles.
However I used D2 on 50x20 tiles and this stuff sticks like sh*t to a duvet!
As good as the powder adhesives I have mixed up before.

They should be, I have a direct Mapei account with mapei and do quite a large turnover with them, and if they arent on the wall they will be paying for a new bathroom!
Its designed to fix extra large wall tiles for contract installations, so i should be OK in a domestic bathroom

I have used this recently and found it to have good grab qualities. With this size of tile I would allow several days before I grouted, as its a dispersion adhesive.

Trouble is though when it gets mixed with water, in the catch tray it stinks of.. cum! No joke all my mates (and their girlfriends) agreed! Really off putting when your doing a job!

Mapei are fantastic adhesives but I'd still say that size tile is too large for a dispersion addy, my choice would have been keraflex I have to say, sorry

I agree. I would have used Adesilex P9 myself.
