Going to tile my bathroom, I normaly start in the centre of the wall so I leave an even cut at either side. (is this correct) But on the bath wall do you start on the bath or just above so to leave an even cut at the bath and ceiling???
One other question is there some form of connector/bracket which attaches the bath to the wall??

Widthwise, you dont have to centre the wall but it will probably easier if you do. Centre on either the grout line or half tile, whichever gives you the better look at either end. If there are obstructions, ie windows, doors, boxing-in etc, you will have to take these into account when you set out, and adjust accordingly.
Heightwise, you can test the set out by starting with a full tile on the bath but you will need to check where this gives you cuts all around the room, ie windows, top of doors, ceiling, floor, etc.
Bath edges can have a bracket under the rim or a timber batten.
