Hi Guys,

Thought I would share some pictures of our progress so far on our bungalow. We have done most of the work to keep the costs down.

Looks good even for a pro. Any reason why you put the sockets so high on the oven picture?

Thanks the pro's did a fantastic job with the granite. (The gf's dad and bro inlaw have helped us alot too !)

Yeah the sockets are the same hight as the other side of the kitchen, but the granite upstands are 6" we did have granite upstands cut to go above the wood worktop but we ended up changing the plans and had a extra cupboard so the upstands are now to short we got the matching walnut upstands for now but they are only 80mm high.

I put walnut upstands on mine and there were some as small as 40mm but biggest i could find was 80mm, so thats what i opted for. Thats why to me the sockets looked a little high, probably used to looking at mine. Much better to have a universal height.

They are the same, both are owned by Travis Perkins, only diffrence is the units come pre-assembled, different names and they do longer lengths of worktop. Fantastic kitchens for the price

Thats some serious filling in pic 8, is that snagging? or personal touch?

That should have been done before the granite

Good luck rubbing that down!!

If u saw the picture above pic 8 u can see the filler wasn't there when the granite was fitted !

It's only easyfil so it was easy to rub down !
