I have been busy in the back garden. Next doors garden is lower by 3ft (1Metre in new money) we had to move the shed which can be seen behind the pergola in Pic looking to 3 trees. This has caused damp in their garage due to build up of debris, leaking guttering on garage and blocked downpipe on their garage. The property is owned by 'Care In The Community' and not looked after very well.
We decided to remove all trees, 2 of ours 1 one rear neighbours, install new fence at rear, shared cost between us and rear neighbour.
All wood (pressure treated) has had 2 coats of undercoat, 1 to 2 coats exterior gloss on fence and sheds.
Greenhouse has yet to be assembled as when they came to dig out by next doors garage we found a Bumble Bee nest and the chap in shorts was getting nervous. We had to wait until the bees disappeared as apparently they are 'protected'.
Top decking close to property is on 150 x 50 bearers on concrete with slate as damp proof, lower deck surrounded by hollow blocks is raised off ground approx 300mm on 100 x100 posts concreted in ground 450mm deep and 150x50 bearers again.
Both decks have had 2 coats of Liberon oil.

A new deck was laid as we had the rear wall rendered, new guttering and downpipes was installed all round the bungalow 40 metres or so.
