plus they have the sandblaster head for the compresser for £10. Have considered the nail gun but I will end up nailing anything I can get my hands on - I'm bad enough doing my Clint Eastwood impression with my cordless drill

Yeah, the nail gun is fun if you hold the safety in with a bit of tape but the range is not far

Have you tried walking down the street like Stallone with a compressor on your back Somehow I don't think the bad guys are gonna take you seriously.northwales4u wrote:dont say that - I'm tempted now...

Got shot at once by a mad chippy with a Paslode nail gun. I was in my site office with the door open working on my laptop, mad chippy Sam (was a body builder, if that's got anything to do with it) held back safety on Paslode and fired in my direction, the nail hit the corner of my screen, wizzed past my ear and hit the back of the office. I didn't chuck him off site, I just kept it as ammunition to hold against him for the future. I have also seen pigeons taken out with Paslode's

remember a few years ago someone on site used a Hilti gun through the highly disliked foremans alloys on his cherished car and nailed it to the road (he did all 4 wheels)

I havent a clue. It was the last day on the job and he did it while the foreman in question was giving us all the 'great work, hope we will work together again soon' speech. Then the lad reappeared and told us what he had done so we all just buggered off quickly before the proverbial hit the fan!Neds wrote:northwales4u wrote:remember a few years ago someone on site used a Hilti gun through the highly disliked foremans alloys on his cherished car and nailed it to the road (he did all 4 wheels)

I fancied the nailer, but you can't load your own magazines. Will they do silicon bronze gripfasts or brass panel pins, for example?
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.

That compressor puts my DeWalt to shame.....cheaper, more powerful, but its three times as loud???? Mines fricken deafening? The nailers well worth the money though. Comes with 2000 fixings and 3yr guarantee!!! Bargain!!!
