Tesco Internet Secuirty software

Hi all

Hope you can help with this query.

I've had the Tesco software for a while and recently, when I've clicked on the icon to do a self-diagnosis, the message box comes up and shows Low Protection level. (It can either show low,medium or high).

Also included in the message is the recommendaton to "Reinstall the Communications Library (LSP). When I click the option to reinstall nothing happens.

There's nothing about the Communications Library in the Help index. Emailing Tesco has met with no reply.

I'd completely uninstall the s/w and re-install with a reboot inbetween assuming you have the original s/w

Thanks for your reply. Yeah got the software - if still no reply from Tesco, I'll have to uninstall and reinstall.

Never heard of reference to the communications library, but the LSP is part of the network component used for internet access.

Look here

It's often a prt that's affected by virus's.

Thanks for your input. Got a reply from Tesco and it's been fixed. As you said, LSP concerns internet access.
