porthole window

Post by oz0707 »

perfect circle. casement has 6mm clearance (3mm all round) rubber tube draught proofing. clapping to form rebate was hard, has to be offset centre then screw weatherbar to casement to make clapping appear to go whole way round. In and Out.

As that is a port hole, is the dog an old sea dog?

I'll get my coat.

just pva. staggered the joints. each section done in 4 curved bits. Window was split in middle with shadow groove. Casement was split where rebate was formed. good fun on the spindle for once.
