Tile restoration, cleaning and sealing

I have an apartment abroad. On the balcony the tiles are very old and the glaze has gone on them. As a result they stain easily if anyone eats on the balcony and food is dropped. Also needs some regrouting. Is there any way these tiles can be cleaned and sealed. R etiling is out of the question. Grateful for any help. Thanks, Peter
