Bulkheads in vans??

Post by Hinton Heating »

If you drive a van, do you have a bulk head... following a post on another forum, where a van rolled on a motorway, i'd say its a must...

Get a bulkhead, if nothing else it gets rid of a lot of the dust and all the drumming and rattling when you drive down the road.

Watching Mythbusters...

They are seeing if a tissue box will kill the driver, if it was sat on parcel shelf, on an impact at 70mph.

They also tried some other objects at 45 mph...

Tissue box - survived ok

small fire extinguisher - serious head injury

bowling ball - took head off

axe - through the head

speaker tube - serious head injury

nodding dog - failed test
