The Bosch pmf 180E and a tile cutting blade make light work of grout removal

Handyman.......................I know what will be coming next. I used that tip on a job the other week. tested a small area because the floor was being replaced but 2 minutes with the bleach on the floor, it bought the grout up to looking like new.

its either do that, or sometimes people replace the grout because its all cracked.............to replace the grout as its cracked is only masking an underlying problem with movement.

Only time you only remove cracked grout is when the fitter has put grout in corners (wall to floor / wall to wall joints)...... and replace with silicon

Only other time I have had to replace all grout was when premixed grout was used, and it was so soft, it came out easily with a grout rake.
